Effective Date: January 1, 2026
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website at salinassunroomsnpatios.com and your engagement with PatioLiving Salinas Sunrooms ("we," "us," or "our") for contracting services. By accessing our website or requesting our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our website or engage our services.
Questions about these Terms can be directed to info@salinassunroomsnpatios.com.
By using our website, submitting a contact or estimate request form, or signing a service contract with us, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement. If you are acting on behalf of a business or property owner, you represent that you have authority to bind that party to these Terms.
PatioLiving Salinas Sunrooms provides residential sunroom and patio improvement services, including but not limited to sunroom additions, four-season and three-season sunrooms, patio enclosures, screen room installation, patio-to-sunroom and deck-to-sunroom conversions, solarium installation, patio cover installation, and sunroom design and remodeling. All services are provided in the state of California and are subject to applicable state and local building codes.
The scope of services for any individual project is defined in the written proposal and contract provided to you before work begins. Services described on our website are for general informational purposes and do not constitute a binding offer or guarantee of availability, timeline, or pricing.
Free on-site estimates are provided at our discretion and do not create a contract or obligation on either party. All estimates are based on information available at the time of the site visit. Actual project costs may differ from initial estimates if site conditions, scope changes, or unforeseen conditions are discovered after work begins.
A written proposal will be provided before any work begins. The proposal sets out the full scope of work, materials, estimated timeline, and total price. The proposal becomes a binding contract only upon your written or electronic acceptance and receipt of any required deposit.
Prices quoted are valid for 30 days from the date of the written proposal unless otherwise stated. Material price changes beyond our control may require a revised proposal after that period.
Project start dates are scheduled upon contract execution and receipt of any required deposit. Start dates are estimates and may be affected by permit approval timelines, weather, material availability, or other factors outside our control. We will communicate any changes to your scheduled start date as early as possible.
If you need to cancel or postpone a project after signing a contract, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. Cancellation terms - including any applicable fees or deposit retention - are specified in your individual service contract. In general, costs incurred for permits, materials ordered, or work already performed prior to cancellation are non-refundable.
We reserve the right to reschedule or delay work due to weather conditions that would compromise the safety or quality of construction. We do not charge rescheduling fees for weather-related delays.
Payment terms are set out in your individual service contract. In general:
Accepted payment methods are specified in your contract. Late payments may be subject to interest charges as permitted under California law. We reserve the right to pause or suspend work on a project where payment obligations are not being met according to the agreed schedule.
Under California law, a contractor may not request or accept a down payment of more than 10 percent of the contract price or $1,000, whichever is less, before the project begins. We follow this requirement on all residential contracts.
We obtain all required building permits on your behalf as part of our standard process. Permit fees are included in or itemized within your written proposal. You are responsible for ensuring that any homeowners association (HOA) approvals required for your property are obtained prior to construction. We are not responsible for delays or costs resulting from HOA review processes. Work will not begin until all required permits are approved.
Specific warranty terms, if any, are described in your individual service contract. Warranties, where provided, cover defects in workmanship and materials under normal use conditions. Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, modifications made by others, acts of nature, or events outside our control.
Our website content - including service descriptions, project photos, and cost guidance - is provided for general informational purposes only. We make no representations or warranties that information on our website is accurate, complete, or current. Website content does not constitute a guarantee of specific results for your project.
To the fullest extent permitted by California law, PatioLiving Salinas Sunrooms shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or from our services, including but not limited to loss of income, loss of business opportunity, or property damage beyond the scope of the contracted work.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from a service contract shall not exceed the total amount paid by you under that contract. Some states do not allow limitation of liability for certain types of damages, so this limitation may not apply to you in full.
We encourage you to contact us directly if you have a concern about our services. Most issues can be resolved with a conversation. You can reach us at info@salinassunroomsnpatios.com or by calling (831) 243-7204.
If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, you and PatioLiving Salinas Sunrooms agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith mediation before pursuing litigation. Mediation shall take place in Salinas, California, or at a mutually agreed location.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking emergency injunctive or equitable relief from a court to prevent irreparable harm while mediation is pending.
These Terms and any service contracts entered into with PatioLiving Salinas Sunrooms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any legal proceedings arising from these Terms shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Monterey County, California.
